Support for a healthy digestive system includes enhancing appetite and stimulating digestive enzymes to promote optimal nutrient absorption. Bitters Tonic™ promotes healthy digestion and comes in an attractive green glass bottle.

Gentian root (also known as Bitterroot) and dandelion root are traditionally used herbs that support the body’s normal bile and enzyme production, preparing for the digestion of fats, carbohydrates and proteins. Dandelion root also promotes the growth of Bifidobacterium, beneficial for gut health. Fennel seed adds digestive support properties and a subtle sweetness, a traditional feature of bitters formulas. Orange peel supports appetite and contributes to healthy digestive functions, particularly in the liver and gallbladder.

 

Nutritional Information

Supports healthy appetite, digestive enzyme production, nutrient absorption and overall digestion.

Adults: ½ teaspoon (approx. 2 half-droppers) to 1 teaspoon (approx. 4 half-droppers), before meals. Dilute in 2‐3 ounces of warm or cool water, or to taste as a savoury tea. May also be taken undiluted, directly in the mouth.

Please note: the droppers may require several pumps to fill to half-droppers.

Dandelion root ~ Taraxacum officinale: 125 mg
Fennel seed ~ Foeniculum vulgare: 125 mg
Orange peel ~ Citrus sinensis: 125 mg
Stevia leaf extract: 6.5 mg

Other ingredients: vegetable glycerin, deionized water, orange and vanilla natural flavours, orange essential oil.
