Pure grade vitamin D3, available in 3 different strengths (4000 IU, 2000 IU, 1000 IU) and with a vegan option (1000 IU). 


In the UK, the primary natural source of vitamin D is oily fish, with most vitamin D usually synthesised from sunlight exposure. However, factors like season (synthesis only occurs in summer), geographic latitude (the UK’s northern position), limited midday sunlight exposure (11am–3pm), cloud cover, pollution, skin pigmentation and sunscreen use all limit natural vitamin D production. As a result, even during summer, nearly half of the English population has deficient vitamin D levels, with 75% below the optimal threshold of 75 nmol/L. The natural vitamin D3 in this product matches the form produced in the body through sunlight exposure.

Vitamin D3 (1000iu) 25µg - 90 capsules - VEGAN - We use a special oily extract of lichen which is naturally rich in Vitamin D3 (plant-based cholecalciferol), the most bioavailable form of vitamin D. Lichens are small unique plant species which possess unique attributes enabling them to survive in extreme climates with the ability to grow and accumulate meaningful levels of useful nutrients, including cholecalciferol. There are many different species of Lichen, however we use a carefully selected strain, following extensive research and development into the best natural sources of Vitamin D3. Lichens grow incredibly slowly so we have secured a suitable source which does not use pesticides and ensures sustainability as well as quality and purity.

Sunflower Seed Oil, Capsule Shell (Glycerin, Modified Corn Starch, Gelling Agent: Carrageenan).

This product is free from wheat, yeast, dairy, soya, nuts, shellfish and Gluten containing ingredients.

The 4000iu supplement is not suitable for children under the age of 11.
