DESCRIPTION

Low-FODMAP, water-soluble prebiotic fibre to support microbial diversity

A colourless, flavourless prebiotic fibre derived from the seeds of the guar plant. This powder dissolves in water and has shown to be well tolerated in individuals with bowel symptoms, including IBS and SIBO.

Clinically, PHGG is used as:

  • A bulking agent and prebiotic to help balance faecal movements - both constipation and diarrhoea
  • A prebiotic food source to increase Bifidobacterium and other SCFA producing bacteria
  • A dietary fibre to increase satiety
 

Nutritional Information

A soluble source of prebiotic fibre for both constipation and diarrhoea.
Highly soluble – mix into any drink.
Rebalances the gut and increases microbial diversity.
A heat-stable prebiotic.

Mix 5g (3 tsp) daily into beverage of choice (hot or cold) or add to food.

PHGG is normally well tolerated, but if you have a sensitive stomach, start with half a dose and build up gradually to the full dosage.
