Do you suffer from lethargy or insomnia? Do you feel exhausted or burnt out? A serotonin deficiency (as well as a serotonin surplus) can have strong effects on our physical and mental condition. Serotonin is known as the “happy hormone” because its best-known role is to control mood. Its release has a calming effect and promotes serenity. It is formed by the body from the amino acid tryptophan. However, the body cannot produce this amino acid itself, but must absorb it through food. An adapted diet can therefore help to support the production of this important hormone.

You take the samples at home, send them back to us and we send you your result with information about the measured parameters. You will find out whether your values are within the normal range or whether there is a serotonin deficiency or excess.

Your report will contain detailed information about your serotonin level and whether it is normal, too high, or too low (compared to the respective reference range for your age group). Results take approximately 2 weeks.
