This DNA test helps uncover how your genes influence the skin’s ability to resist signs of ageing, along with genetic markers related to eating behaviours and how your body metabolises nutrients essential for skin health.

It’s an ideal option for individuals interested in personalised recommendations on supplements, foods, and nutrients to help optimise skin health from within.

The SKIN test can be ordered alongside the Ultimate DNA test or within six months of receiving your Ultimate Methylation test results. It uses DNA from your original cheek swab, so no additional kit will be sent or required.

The DNA used to produce the Histamine report is from your original Ultimate cheek swab - no additional swab kit is dispatched.

If you do not select the Lab Result Only package then In ADDITION to your lab report we provide the following options which are INCLUDED in the package prices:

A) Follow up personalised written report produced by our clinical team highlighting dietary and lifestyle advice plus links to supplement protocols, specific doses and any further testing requirements included. We use the patient information you provide us at checkout along with your results to compile personalised action points for you.

OR

B) Follow up 30-minute video call to discuss your results and answer any questions you have. Once the lab has completed your results you will be sent these via email with a link to book a time and day online. You will also then be given the option to upgrade your 30-minute call to a 45-minute call for an additional £30 if you wish. During the call your practitioner will explain the results in more detail and what they mean for you. After your call you are sent a personalised list of supplements & the dose your practitioner advises with links to purchase from our supplements store. This is for your convenience. You are of course welcome to purchase supplements elsewhere. You will also be provided with a list of follow up tests should this be required plus a copy of your recorded zoom call which you can download and keep.

Results will be sent to you as a lab PDF. The same cheek swab is used for both the Ultimate and the SKIN report. If you ordered both tests at the same time then results will be ready at the same time (approx 3 weeks from sample being received back at the labs). If you ordered this test within 3 months of your original Ultimate test then the additional SKIN DNA PDF will be ready in approximately 1 week.

If you select to order a printed SKIN DNA report in addition to the PDF then you will receive a personalised A4 size, glossy, colour printed brochure, posted to you approximately 2 weeks after your PDF is sent to you.

No. As we're testing the genetic code, which is fixed, the test is not impacted by illness, infections, medication, the food you eat, or supplements you take.
