This test assesses the balance of your vaginal microbiome and its potential impact on your gynaecological health. A healthy microbiome—dominated by beneficial Lactobacillus bacteria—helps protect against infections, supports fertility, and influences hormonal transitions such as menopause.

An imbalance in vaginal flora can increase the risk of conditions even in the absence of noticeable symptoms.

The test analyses levels of protective bacteria as well as microbes associated with bacterial vaginosis, aerobic vaginitis, thrush, and trichomoniasis. It can help uncover the cause of ongoing or recurring infections and guide more targeted treatment
